zumBrunnen Presenting Training Session at the Florida Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (FAHSA) Annual Maintenance & Environmental Services Workshop
Atlanta, GA – November 16, 2010 – zumBrunnen, Inc., an independent building consulting firm, is presenting a training session titled “Lower Your Overall Operating Expense: Assess – Plan – Execute” on Tuesday, November 30 at the Florida Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (FAHSA) Annual Maintenance & Environmental Services Workshop in Orlando, FL. John zumBrunnen, President and Founder of the firm, will instruct attendees on ways to identify hidden issues to preempt future repairs and how to identify potential problems and make improvements based on LEED criteria for existing buildings. He will also explain budget planning concepts to ensure adequate maintenance funding and discuss the fundamentals of a preventative maintenance program.
John zumBrunnen has over four decades of experience in the industry, and he established his independent building consulting firm in 1989. He is also the inventor of the FacilityForecast® software system and a respected speaker in the senior living industry. He is a member of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA), Community Association Institute (CAI) and Association of Professional Reserve Analysts (APRA), and a faculty member for the Coalition for Leadership in Aging Services (CLAS) as a Certified Aging Services Professional (CASP) at the University of North Texas (UNT).
