Atlanta, GA – May 9, 2012 – zumBrunnen, Inc., an independent building consulting firm, is presenting educational sessions at the LeadingAge North Carolina and LeadingAge Texas annual conferences both being held in May 2012. Both state-level associations are affiliated with LeadingAge, a national association of over 5,600 not-for-profit organizations dedicated to making America a better place to grow old. LeadingAge North Carolina Annual Conference:

The LeadingAge North Carolina 56th Annual Spring Conference and Trade Show will be held on May 14-17, 2012 in New Bern, NC. zumBrunnen will be exhibiting at Booth #38, and the firm will be co-presenting a session titled “Ensure a Financially and Physically Fit Facility for the Long Haul” from 4:15-5:15 PM on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

John zumBrunnen will make the presentation with Mario McKenzie, Partner with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. The session will help executive officers and board members understand the critical financial and facility issues that must be identified and accounted for in their budgets. Tom Doyen, Director Business Development for zumBrunnen will make the presentation with Troy Langsdale of CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. The session will focus on the importance of the strategic planning process. As senior living communities continue to age and competitors enter the market, the implications of strategic planning and strategic capital replacement planning become even more critical. This session will explain the fundamental issues in the process and explore how to use smart planning to position communities for the future.
