Shorecrest Preparatory School is a K12 school located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The school has 8 buildings and over 1050 students. The facilities include 28 acres of campus, athletic fields, technology center, library, a covered outdoor pavilion and more.
Although Shorecrest had an assessment done within the last decade, it was done with a software that was neither intuitive nor easy to maintain. Thus, they were in need of another facility assessment. This time around though, they wanted it to be done by a company that would provide them with the tools they needed to maintain their beautiful campus

The zumBrunnen team was commissioned to complete a full facilities audit for all the buildings, athletic facilities, and grounds to help them more accurately forecast for the future.
With expertise in education buildings and school campuses, the team was well equipped to identify opportunities for future capital planning. Between two different site visits and various interviews, zumBrunnen was able to provide capital replacement budgets and a reserve funding plan.
zumBrunnen was able to centralize the building data in the FacilityForecast® Software system and train all necessary parties on how to use the software to maintain the property and run reports to help plan expenses in the future.
